Day 4 at Universal Studios
While we did pop in to a few things at the end of each day, I’m going to combine them on this day. I took the day off to work because of a business emergency that had arisen, and all the guys took off to explore the rest of Universal since it wasn’t something I was interested in at all.
Men in Black
At this point, our tour guide wanted to show the boys some other places in Universal he knew they’d love. Men in Black was a fun, interactive ride with lots of great theming. You will have to use the lockers for any carry items and go through a metal detector to get into line.
The Simpsons
The Simpsons was one of my husband’s favorite shows, so we had to stop by Moe’s Tavern for at least a quick snap with one of his best friends so that he could say he was there, but we didn’t really spend any time there or get a Krusty burger or anything ;(
Transformers
Jurassic Park
Superhero Island – We had the biggest laugh at our newly created Superhero!
Bubba Gump Shrimp Company – overall? Like with most restaurants @ Universal Orlando, the theming was fun, but it was so incredibly expensive for those on a tighter budget. The food was decent, but it was the splurge night. The bill was almost $100 for 5 of us, with no alcoholic drinks, and I only had soup and water (had just had some dental surgery, so I wasn’t ready to eat a lot of solids). You can expect full service restaurants to be expensive.
