Get a peek inside the magical world of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling, illustrated by Jim Kay with this video flip-thru.
Have you stalked your postman or package delivery person?
Today…you would have found me peeking out the blinds, opening the door, gazing down the road, checking my delivery tracker … just waiting for the delivery person to drive up and deliver my very special book – the 3rd installment of the Illustrated Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Then…the clouds parted (literally), I heard a door slam, and I met the delivery guy at the front door, breathless.
I ripped open the box and pulled out ‘my precious’.
This is a beautiful, beautiful book. Jim Kay is marvelous with his particular view of how the Potter-verse should look, and I adore it. So take a walk through the book with me to see the beautiful illustrations.
Just like with my flip-thru of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, I’m going to walk you through this book, page by page, focusing on a few of the pages that I found breath-taking. (If you’d like to see more book reveals, click here!)

I’ll give you a couple of peeks here:
The thing about these books is that Jim does an amazing job of creating such a mood, so much detail, so much texture – all on a flat image. I actually want to reach out and touch a few of the pages because the illustrations look so real!
Now, get ready for the beauty to come!
